✅ Transfers IN: Three Players to Target

With a Double Gameweek in play, getting the right players in before Saturday's deadline is absolutely critical. Here are the three must-consider transfers in for GW33.

1. Rayan Cherki (Man City) - £6.3m | 🏆 ESSENTIAL

The standout transfer target of the week. Cherki is Man City's creative heartbeat and is delivering in style right now.

  • Price: £6.3m | Ownership: 8.1% (rising fast - 100,000+ transfers in this week)

  • GW32: 2 assists vs Chelsea, played 75 minutes - 10 points

  • Season total: 11 assists, 3 goals - 110 total points

  • GW33 Double Gameweek: Man City face Burnley (H, difficulty 2) and Arsenal (A, difficulty 5)

  • Expected points GW33: 20.5 - the highest of any player discussed this week

At £6.3m with the best expected points of the week and a home fixture against Burnley in a Double Gameweek, Cherki is the essential transfer. He's also your captain pick - more on that below. Get him in before the deadline, and if you're considering your Triple Captain or Wildcard chip, this is the week to use it.

Cherki's expected points projections are among the best available this week - view expected points projections to see how he compares to the rest of the field.

2. Alex Scott (Bournemouth) - £5.0m | 🏆 ESSENTIAL

A low-ownership gem at just £5.0m, Scott is arguably the best differential value in the game right now.

  • Price: £5.0m | Ownership: 2.1% - a genuine differential

  • GW32: Scored vs Arsenal + 3 bonus points = 12 points

  • Season: 3 goals, 2 assists - 120 total points, 3.8 points per game

  • GW33 Double Gameweek: Bournemouth face Newcastle (Saturday) and Leeds (midweek)

  • Expected points GW33: 14.0

At £5.0m, Scott represents outstanding value in a Double Gameweek. His 2.1% ownership means he's a real differential - if he hauls, you'll be jumping up the ranks. The verdict is simple: essential.

3. Nordi Mukiele (Sunderland) - £4.5m | 👍 Good Buy for the Brave

Sunderland's form is remarkable right now, and Mukiele has been at the heart of their defensive excellence.

  • Price: £4.5m | Ownership: 6.8%

  • GW32: Scored + clean sheet vs Spurs = 14 points

  • Season: 2 goals, 5 assists, 8 clean sheets as a defender - 129 total points

  • Points per game: 5.0 - excellent consistency

  • GW33: Sunderland travel to Aston Villa (difficulty 4 - a tougher ask)

The fixture at Villa is not easy (rated 4 for difficulty), but Mukiele's form is sensational. At £4.5m for a defender with five assists, two goals, and eight clean sheets, this is outstanding budget value. Just be mindful of the away trip to Villa. Verdict: Good buy for the brave.

❌ Transfers OUT: Three Players to Consider Selling

1. Dominik Szoboszlai (Liverpool) - £7.1m | SELL

  • Price: £7.1m | Ownership: 13.3% - over 33,000 transfers out this week

  • GW32: Played 90 mins vs Fulham, returned just 5 points - no goal involvement

  • GW33: Liverpool face Everton in the Merseyside Derby (difficulty 3 vs 3)

  • Expected points GW33: 6.8 - extremely low for his price point

With Cherki offering 20.5 expected points at £6.3m compared to Szoboszlai's 6.8 xP at £7.1m, that budget is far better spent elsewhere. The Derby is unpredictable, and Szoboszlai has shown no signs of returning big numbers. Verdict: Sell and reinvest in GW33 Double Gameweek assets.

2. Karl Darlow (Leeds) - £3.9m | SELL

  • Price: £3.9m | Ownership: 5.2%

  • GW32: 4 points - conceded in Leeds' 2-1 win at Man Utd

  • Season: Just 3 clean sheets all season - poor record

  • Points per game: 2.9 - well below average

  • GW33: Leeds face Wolves (a manageable fixture on paper)

  • Expected points GW33: 11.1

With only three clean sheets all season and a points per game of just 2.9, Darlow is underperforming for his price. There are far better budget goalkeeper options available. Verdict: Sell and upgrade to a better keeper.

3. Gianluigi Donnarumma (Man City) - £5.6m | HOLD (but don't buy in)

  • Price: £5.6m | Ownership: 9.3%

  • GW32: 7 points - clean sheet vs Chelsea

  • Season: 12 clean sheets - excellent record - 111 total points

  • GW33 Double Gameweek: Man City face Burnley (H) and Arsenal (A, difficulty 5)

  • The Arsenal away fixture is a real risk for his clean sheet potential

Donnarumma is delivering this season with 12 clean sheets, but with the tough Arsenal away fixture in the Double Gameweek, clean sheet potential is not guaranteed across both games. Verdict: Hold if you have him, but don't overpay to bring him in now.

🎯 Differential Picks: Under 10% Ownership

Looking to gain ground in your mini-leagues? These three differentials could be the difference-makers in GW33. You can also browse more differentials using our dedicated tool to find other low-ownership gems.

Jeremy Doku (Man City) - £6.4m | 2.5% Ownership

  • GW32: Scored, played 75 minutes - 8 points

  • Season: 2 goals, 7 assists - 82 total points

  • GW33 Double Gameweek: Man City vs Burnley (H) and Arsenal (A)

  • Expected points GW33: 16.5 - elite at his price

  • At only 2.5% ownership, a Doku haul against Burnley would be massive

Doku is an electric differential. If Man City click against Burnley at home, Doku will be at the heart of it. With 16.5 expected points across a Double Gameweek at just £6.4m, this is a serious punt with huge upside.

Joe Gomez (Brighton) - £4.9m | 0.9% Ownership

  • GW32: Played 87 mins, clean sheet in Brighton's 2-0 win at Burnley

  • Season: 5 goals as a midfielder - exceptional return for a budget player

  • GW33 Double Gameweek: Brighton face Spurs and Chelsea

  • Expected points GW33: 10.5

  • Ownership of just 0.9% - the ultimate differential

Five goals as a midfielder at £4.9m is extraordinary value. In a Double Gameweek with fixtures against Spurs and Chelsea, Gomez is an absolute steal for managers willing to be different. At under 1% ownership, any return he gets will be extremely valuable.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (Everton) - £5.1m | 4.7% Ownership

  • GW32: Scored - 9 points

  • Season: 7 goals, 5 assists - 126 total points, 5.0 points per game

  • GW33: Everton host Liverpool in the Merseyside Derby

  • A goal in the Derby would be absolutely enormous for your rank

Dewsbury-Hall has been one of the most consistent midfielders of the season with a 5.0 points per game average. At £5.1m with 7 goals and 5 assists, he's massively undervalued. The Derby at home is an unpredictable fixture, but a goal in that game would shoot you up the rankings. Worth the punt.

🏆 Captain Pick: Rayan Cherki (Man City)

Twenty point five expected points across a Double Gameweek, eleven assists on the season, two assists last time out. He's in the form of his life and Man City at home to Burnley is the standout fixture. He's your captain.

Who Got The Points Podcast
  • Price: £6.3m | Ownership: 8.1%

  • Season: 11 assists, 3 goals - in the form of his life

  • If you're playing your Triple Captain chip, this is the week to activate it

The decision is clear. Cherki is your GW33 captain. The Burnley home fixture is as good as it gets - a difficulty rating of 2 - and his creative output over recent weeks has been exceptional. Two assists against Chelsea last week, 11 assists for the season. Don't overthink it.
