Let's get straight into it.

📰 Key News Heading Into GW33

Here's the fast-fire news round-up you need before you touch your squad:

  • 🚨 Ekitike is ruled out for the rest of the season. If you own him, sell immediately - no debate, no delay. More below.

  • ⚽ Rice is fit, which is good news for Arsenal holders. However, Saka and Timber remain absent with no update on their return. Arsenal face Man City away in GW33 - a tough ask without key attacking players.

  • 📋 Madueke has picked up an injury, adding uncertainty to Chelsea's attacking setup. Chelsea face Man United on Saturday and Brighton on Tuesday - a Double Gameweek, but with question marks.

  • 🏆 DOUBLE GAMEWEEK teams: Bournemouth, Burnley, Brighton, Chelsea, Leeds, and Man City all have TWO fixtures this week. Build your squad around these sides wherever possible.

✅ Transfers IN - Who To Bring In For GW33

1. Marc Guéhi (Man City) - ESSENTIAL

Price: £5.1m | Ownership: 34.6% | GW32 Points: 15

Guéhi was absolutely magnificent in Gameweek 32 - 90 minutes, a goal, a clean sheet, and three bonus points for 15 fantasy points in a single game. He now has 11 clean sheets this season alongside 3 goals and 4 assists, making him a £5.1m defender punching dramatically above his price tag.

His expected points for GW33 sit at an enormous 30.5 - yes, Arsenal away is a tough fixture on paper, but Man City are at home and Guéhi has been a colossus this season. In a Double Gameweek, his ceiling is extraordinary. View expected points projections to see how he stacks up against the rest of the field.

  • Total FPL points this season: 150

  • GW32: Goal + clean sheet + 3 bonus = 15 points

  • Expected points GW33: 30.5

  • Double Gameweek: Man City play TWICE

  • Verdict: ESSENTIAL

2. Jérémy Doku (Man City) - Essential Differential

Price: £6.4m | Ownership: 2.6% | GW32 Points: 8

Doku scored in Gameweek 32 and has racked up 7 assists this season alongside 2 goals. At just 2.6% ownership, he is one of the most underowned genuine attacking threats in the game right now. His expected points for GW33 are 16.5 - the highest in our data pool for this gameweek.

Man City have two fixtures this week, and Doku is a genuine differential with premium upside. We flagged him as a buy recently and that call looks even better now heading into a Double Gameweek. At under 3% ownership, captaining or simply owning him could be the difference between winning and losing your mini-league this week.

  • Total FPL points this season: 82

  • 7 assists and 2 goals this season

  • GW33 expected points: 16.5 (highest in our pool)

  • Ownership: 2.6% - massive differential potential

  • Double Gameweek: Man City play TWICE

  • Verdict: ESSENTIAL buy for differential seekers

3. Beto (Everton) - Good Buy

Price: £5.0m | Ownership: 2.9% | GW32 Points: 7

Beto scored in Gameweek 32, playing 73 minutes and picking up 7 fantasy points. He's now at 7 goals for the season and arrives into GW33 in red-hot form with a form score of 11.5. His expected points for GW33 are 11.0 against Liverpool in the Merseyside derby - a tough fixture, yes, but his form makes him dangerous in any game.

Nearly 14,000 managers are already transferring him in this week - and at £5.0m, the value is hard to ignore. If you need a budget striker who's firing, Beto is your man.

  • 7 goals this season

  • GW32: 7 points (goal, 73 minutes)

  • Form score: 11.5

  • GW33 expected points: 11.0

  • Being transferred in by ~14,000 managers

  • Verdict: GOOD BUY

❌ Transfers OUT - Who Needs To Go

1. Ekitike - SELL IMMEDIATELY

This one is non-negotiable. Ekitike is ruled out for the rest of the season. He will score zero FPL points between now and May. If you own him, he must leave your squad before the GW33 deadline on Saturday at 10am. There is no scenario where holding him makes sense. Get him out and reinvest those funds into a Double Gameweek asset right now.

There is no holding here, no debate. If you own him, he needs to leave immediately. He will score zero for the rest of the campaign.

Who Got The Points Podcast

2. Gabriel (Arsenal) - Consider Selling

Price: £7.2m | Ownership: 41.5% | GW32 Points: 4

Gabriel is the most-owned player in the game, but the case for holding is weakening fast. He returned just 4 points in GW32 as Arsenal lost 1-0 to Bournemouth, and now faces Man City away in GW33 - about as tough a clean sheet prospect as it gets. With Saka and Timber still absent, Arsenal's overall attacking output is diminished, which reduces the clean sheet likelihood further.

His form has dipped to 4.0, and 86,000 managers are already selling him this week. Arsenal don't have a Double Gameweek, so the opportunity cost of holding Gabriel over a Double Gameweek defender is significant. Check the fixture difficulty ratings to see just how tough Arsenal's schedule looks right now.

  • GW32: Only 4 points (Arsenal lost 1-0 to Bournemouth)

  • GW33 fixture: Man City away - very tough for clean sheets

  • Saka and Timber still absent

  • Form: 4.0 - dipping

  • 86,000 managers already selling

  • Arsenal have NO Double Gameweek

  • Verdict: SELL if you need funds for Double GW assets

3. Cole Palmer (Chelsea) - Hold or Sell Based on Budget

Price: £10.5m | Ownership: 19.8% | GW32 Points: 4

Palmer returned just 4 points in GW32 as Chelsea were hammered 3-0 by Man City. His form is down to 3.0, and Madueke's injury adds uncertainty to the Chelsea attacking setup. That said, Chelsea do have a Double Gameweek - Man United on Saturday and Brighton on Tuesday - so there is a fixtures-based case for holding him if your budget allows.

The verdict here depends on your squad situation. If you have the funds covered elsewhere and believe in Chelsea's Double Gameweek upside, you can hold. But if you desperately need the £10.5m to fund Double Gameweek differentials like Doku or Guéhi, now may be the moment to cash in.

  • GW32: 4 points (Chelsea lost 3-0 to Man City)

  • Form: 3.0 - poor recent run

  • Madueke injury adds uncertainty

  • Chelsea DO have a Double Gameweek (Man Utd + Brighton)

  • Verdict: HOLD if funds are sorted elsewhere. SELL if you need the funds urgently

🎯 Differential Picks (Under 10% Ownership)

Callum Hudson-Odoi (Nott'm Forest) - 0.7% Ownership

Price: £5.7m | Ownership: 0.7% | GW32 Points: 7

Hudson-Odoi played the full 90 minutes in GW32, grabbed an assist, 2 bonus points, and returned 7 fantasy points. He has 4 assists and 3 goals to his name this season. Forest face Burnley in GW33, which is a very favourable fixture for a player of his quality. At under 1% ownership, he is a genuine points haul waiting to happen for those who pull the trigger.

  • 3 goals and 4 assists this season

  • GW32: Assist + 2 bonus = 7 points (full 90 mins)

  • GW33 fixture: vs Burnley - very favourable

  • Ownership: 0.7% - near-invisible differential

  • Verdict: Excellent budget midfield differential

Jarrod Bowen (West Ham) - 10% Ownership

Price: £7.6m | Ownership: 10% | GW32 Points: 14

Bowen is right on the ownership threshold but his Gameweek 32 performance demands a mention. He assisted THREE times in West Ham's 4-0 demolition of Wolves, returning 14 fantasy points. He now has 8 goals and 10 assists this season - extraordinary all-round numbers. West Ham face Crystal Palace in GW33 on Monday night, a genuinely good fixture for a player in this kind of form.

  • 8 goals and 10 assists this season

  • GW32: 3 assists in 4-0 vs Wolves = 14 points

  • GW33 fixture: vs Crystal Palace (Monday Night Football)

  • Total FPL points this season: 157

  • Verdict: Highly recommended if you don't already own him

🏆 Captain Pick - The 30-Point Option

  • 🥇 Main Captain: Guéhi (Man City) - 30.5 xP, goal last GW, Double Gameweek

  • 🥈 Alternative Captain: Doku (Man City) - 16.5 xP, 2.6% ownership, genuine differential feel

💡 Key Tip: Double Gameweek Strategy

This is a Double Gameweek. Every single transfer decision you make should prioritise players with TWO fixtures. Guéhi and Doku from Man City both double up, as do assets from Bournemouth, Burnley, Brighton, Chelsea, and Leeds. If you have a Bench Boost or Free Hit chip available, this is a near-perfect week to use it - the Double Gameweek creates exactly the conditions these chips are designed for.
