Welcome back to the Who Got The Points newsletter - your weekly edge in the FPL mini-league race. This week's episode is all about Gameweek 32 transfers and, crucially, how to position yourself perfectly for the Double Gameweek 33 that could define your entire season. Let's get into it.

🚨 The Big Picture: Double Gameweek 33 Is Coming

Tarkowski

Raya

Here is the headline you cannot afford to miss. Chelsea and Brighton will have a Double Gameweek 33, followed by a blank in Gameweek 34. Man City and Burnley are in exactly the same boat - double in GW33, blank in GW34. That changes everything about how you approach this week's transfers.

Meanwhile, Arsenal and Newcastle will NOT have a double or blank in either of those gameweeks - so factor that into your planning. The message is simple: use Gameweek 32 as your final transfer window to get Brighton, Chelsea, and Man City assets in before the deadline rush hits.

Start planning for Double Gameweek 33 NOW. Chelsea and Brighton players will be gold, and Man City assets will be crucial. Do not wait until the deadline rush.

✅ Transfers IN - Who to Buy for GW32

1. Danny Welbeck - Brighton | £6.2m | 5.2% Ownership

Verdict: ESSENTIAL

Welbeck is the standout buy of the week and it is not particularly close. He scored 12 points in Gameweek 31, bagging two goals against Liverpool, and now has 12 goals for the season - a remarkable return for a £6.2m forward. Brighton host Burnley in GW32, which is a very attractive fixture, and then comes that all-important Double Gameweek 33.

  • Price: £6.2m

  • Ownership: 5.2%

  • GW31 Points: 12 (2 goals vs Liverpool)

  • Season Goals: 12

  • Season Total Points: 106

  • Key Fixture: Brighton vs Burnley (GW32), then Double GW33

  • Ownership is low - buy before the price rises and it explodes

At 5.2% ownership, he is still very much a differential. Buy him now before the price goes up and the masses pile in. Check the latest price changes to track when a rise might be imminent.

2. Anthony Gordon - Newcastle | £7.4m | 7.6% Ownership

Verdict: GOOD BUY

Gordon grabbed a goal and 10 points in Gameweek 31, playing 88 minutes against Sunderland. His season tally of 6 goals and 4 assists is solid for his price point, and his form rating of 10.5 with expected points of 10.5 for GW32 puts him firmly in haul territory. Over 113,000 transfers in this week - the masses are already moving.

  • Price: £7.4m

  • Ownership: 7.6%

  • GW31 Points: 10 (1 goal, 88 mins)

  • Season: 6 goals, 4 assists, 98 total points

  • Form Rating: 10.5 | Expected Points GW32: 10.5

  • GW32 Fixture: Newcastle vs Crystal Palace

  • 113,000+ transfers in this week

Note: Newcastle do NOT have a double gameweek in GW33, so Gordon is primarily a GW32 play. But with his form and expected points, he is worth having regardless. You can view expected points projections to see how he compares to other options.

3. Lacroix - Crystal Palace | £5.1m | 4.7% Ownership

Verdict: ESSENTIAL for budget-conscious managers

Here is a defender with 10 clean sheets this season at just £5.1m. That is outstanding value by any metric. Crystal Palace host Newcastle at home on Sunday 13th April (GW32), and Lacroix has a form rating of 9.0 with expected points of 9.0 - numbers that make him look very attractive for the price.

  • Price: £5.1m

  • Ownership: 4.7%

  • Season Clean Sheets: 10

  • Form Rating: 9.0 | Expected Points GW32: 9.0

  • GW32 Fixture: Crystal Palace vs Newcastle (Home, Sunday 13th April)

  • ~28,000 transfers in this week - still a genuine differential

With barely anyone owning him, Lacroix is one of the best differentials in the game right now. If you need to free up funds elsewhere, he is the perfect enabler who can also contribute meaningful points.

❌ Transfers OUT - Who to Sell for GW32

1. Gabriel - Arsenal | £7.2m | 43% Ownership

Verdict: Sell if you have the right cover. Hold if you cannot upgrade sensibly.

This is the conversation every FPL manager is having right now. Gabriel is listed as doubtful with a knee injury - 75% chance of playing, but that 25% risk on a player owned by 43% of the game is enormous. Arsenal face Bournemouth in GW32, and Bournemouth's away difficulty is rated 5 - a tough ask. Nearly 49,000 managers are already moving him out this week.

  • Price: £7.2m

  • Ownership: 43%

  • Injury: Doubtful (knee) - 75% chance of playing

  • GW32 Fixture: Arsenal vs Bournemouth (Bournemouth away difficulty rated 5)

  • ~49,000 transfers OUT this week

  • Arsenal & Newcastle have NO double gameweek in GW33

The calculus here is straightforward: if Gabriel doesn't start, you are likely to take a zero on your captain or a key defender while nearly half the game watches nervously. If you have a sensible replacement lined up, this could be the moment to move on.

2. Sels - Nott'm Forest | £4.6m | 4.8% Ownership

Verdict: SELL

Sels picked up 7 points in GW31 with a clean sheet against Spurs, which looks attractive on the surface. But Forest face Aston Villa in GW32 - a much sterner test under Unai Emery's well-drilled side. His season total of just 77 points and a points per game of 3.2 reveals the inconsistency underneath. With better goalkeeper options available, this looks like the time to upgrade.

  • Price: £4.6m

  • Ownership: 4.8%

  • GW31 Points: 7 (clean sheet vs Spurs)

  • Season Total: 77 points | PPG: 3.2

  • GW32 Fixture: Forest vs Aston Villa - tough ask

3. Van Hecke - Brighton | £4.5m | 5.3% Ownership

Verdict: Hold for Double GW33 exposure. Sell if you need the funds.

Van Hecke managed only 4 points in GW31 despite Brighton winning - which tells you something about his consistency. Brighton's Double Gameweek 33 is a compelling reason to hold, but at £4.5m there are more reliable options. If you need the cash to bring in Lacroix or another target, he is moveable without much regret.

  • Price: £4.5m

  • Ownership: 5.3%

  • GW31 Points: 4 (despite Brighton winning)

  • Double GW33: Yes - reason to hold

  • Verdict: Sell if funds are needed, hold if you want the double exposure

🔍 Differentials - Under 10% Ownership

These are the players who could seriously hurt you in your mini-league if you don't have them and your rivals do. Low ownership, high upside.

Canvot - Crystal Palace | £4.5m | 0.1% Ownership

Form rating of 11.0 and expected points of 11.0 for GW32 against Newcastle. Only 2,300 transfers in this week - barely anyone knows about this player. Crystal Palace at home, Oliver Glasner's side are solid defensively, and Canvot has been keeping clean sheets. At £4.5m he is almost free money in your squad. If you are tight on budget, this is your move.

  • Price: £4.5m

  • Ownership: 0.1% (only ~2,300 transfers in)

  • Form Rating: 11.0 | Expected Points GW32: 11.0

  • GW32 Fixture: Crystal Palace vs Newcastle (Home)

  • Verdict: Essential differential for tight budgets

Struijk - Leeds | £4.3m | 0.5% Ownership

Struijk played 82 minutes and picked up a clean sheet for 5 points in GW31 against Brentford. Leeds travel to Man Utd in GW32, which looks tough on paper, but Daniel Farke's side have been hard to beat - 6 clean sheets this season at just £4.3m. Expected points of 6.0 for GW32. If you need a cheap enabler who might sneak a bonus, Struijk is absolutely worth a look.

  • Price: £4.3m

  • Ownership: 0.5%

  • GW31: 5 points (clean sheet, 82 mins)

  • Season Clean Sheets: 6

  • Expected Points GW32: 6.0

  • GW32 Fixture: Man Utd vs Leeds (Away)

  • Verdict: Cheap enabler with bonus potential

Dowman - Arsenal | £4.2m | 0.6% Ownership

The FPL community is starting to notice - 6,140 transfers in this week for a player at 0.6% ownership. Dowman has contributed a goal and an assist this season for just £4.2m. Arsenal host Bournemouth in GW32, and with expected points of 7.0, the upside is massive for the price. Keep a close eye on the team news - if he starts, snap him up immediately.

  • Price: £4.2m

  • Ownership: 0.6% (~6,140 transfers in)

  • Season Contributions: 1 goal, 1 assist

  • Expected Points GW32: 7.0

  • GW32 Fixture: Arsenal vs Bournemouth (Home)

  • Verdict: Watch team news - if he starts, buy immediately

🎯 Captaincy Pick: Bruno Fernandes - Man Utd | £9.0m | 44.7% Ownership

It has to be B.Fernandes. The podcast backed him in GW31 and he delivered - 13 points with a goal and an assist against Bournemouth. He is now sitting at 44.7% ownership, which tells you everything about the consensus view. His expected points of 12.0 for GW32 are the highest of any midfielder, and Man Utd host Leeds at home on Monday 14th April.

  • Price: £9.0m

  • Ownership: 44.7%

  • GW31 Points: 13 (1 goal, 1 assist vs Bournemouth)

  • Season: 8 goals, 17 assists, 189 total points

  • Expected Points GW32: 12.0

  • GW32 Fixture: Man Utd vs Leeds (Home, Monday 14th April)

  • Verdict: Keep the armband on

Eight goals, seventeen assists, and a 44.7% ownership figure that tells you everything. Keep the armband on Fernandes for Gameweek 32.
