Welcome back, FPL managers! With the Gameweek 32 deadline fast approaching on Friday afternoon at 5:30pm, the international break has given us time to think - but it's also brought some injury headaches that could seriously disrupt your plans. Here's everything you need to know to nail your transfers before the deadline.

🚨 Injury Concern: Saliba & Gabriel Both Doubtful

Wilson

Raya

This is the biggest talking point heading into Gameweek 32 and it affects a huge portion of FPL squads.

  • Saliba (Arsenal, £6.1m) - ankle issue, listed at 75% chance of playing. 13.2% ownership. Has been exceptional all season with 11 clean sheets and 107 total points.

  • Gabriel (Arsenal, £6.1m) - knee problem, also listed at 75% chance of playing. A whopping 43% ownership means he is in nearly half of all FPL squads.

  • Arsenal host Bournemouth on 11th April - a fixture that looked very appealing just days ago, but now carries significant uncertainty.

  • The Friday deadline is 5:30pm - check the official injury news on Friday morning before making any final calls.

If Gabriel is ruled out, the knock-on effect for rank could be enormous - almost half the game will be scrambling for a replacement. Keep this at the very top of your priority list this week.

📰 Gameweek 31 Results That Matter

Before we dive into the transfers, here's a quick recap of the GW31 results that are shaping our GW32 thinking:

  • Newcastle 1–2 Sunderland - A surprising home defeat. Form concern for Newcastle assets heading into GW32.

  • Spurs 0–3 Nottingham Forest - An absolute hammering at home. Spurs' season is unravelling fast.

  • Brighton 2–1 Liverpool - A brilliant result for Brighton holders. Welbeck scored twice.

  • Everton 3–0 Chelsea - Everton flying. Beto bagged a brace and 16 points.

  • Bournemouth 2–2 Man Utd - B.Fernandes scored and assisted. Business as usual.

✅ Transfers IN - Who to Target for GW32

1. Bruno Fernandes (Man Utd) - ESSENTIAL

Price: £10.3m | Ownership: 44.3% | GW31 Points: 13 | Season Points: 189

If you don't own B.Fernandes right now, this is genuinely urgent. He scored, assisted, and picked up bonus points in Gameweek 31, hauling 13 points in Man Utd's 2–2 draw at Bournemouth. On the season he has racked up an extraordinary 17 assists and 8 goals - numbers that put him in elite company.

For Gameweek 32, Man Utd host Leeds at Old Trafford on Monday 13th April. Leeds have lost their last three away games and have looked very leaky on the road. B.Fernandes' expected points of 11.5 for this fixture back up what the eye test already tells you - he is the most in-form player in the game right now.

He is also your Gameweek 32 captain. There is no debate here. The armband goes to B.Fernandes.

Verdict: Essential. Get him in immediately if you haven't already - and give him the armband.

2. Danny Welbeck (Brighton) - GOOD

Price: £6.2m | Ownership: 4.8% | GW31 Points: 12 | Season Points: 106

Welbeck was one of our earlier-in-the-week recommendations and he delivered beautifully - scoring twice against Liverpool and banking 12 points. He now has 12 goals on the season, a number that really underlines just how clinical he has been in front of goal.

Brighton now face Burnley at home in Gameweek 32, which is a very favourable fixture. Expected points of 6.5 back up the case, and with over 111,000 transfers in during GW31 alone, the secret is well and truly out. At £6.2m he still offers brilliant value, but don't hang around - the price will rise.

Check live price change data to see exactly when Welbeck's price is likely to move.

Verdict: Good - still worth bringing in before the price rises further.

3. Anthony Gordon (Newcastle) - GOOD

Price: £7.4m | Ownership: 7.3% | GW31 Points: 10 | Season Points: 98

Gordon scored and earned bonus points in GW31 despite Newcastle's disappointing 2–1 home defeat to Sunderland - showing he can deliver even when results don't go his team's way. On the season he has 6 goals and 4 assists, and he is hitting form at exactly the right time.

Newcastle travel to Crystal Palace in Gameweek 32 - a neutral-looking fixture on paper - but Gordon's ability to win penalties, drive at defenders, and contribute in both boxes makes him a genuine differential option. His expected points of 7.5 reflect his consistent output. At £7.4m he fills midfield coverage at a reasonable price point.

Verdict: Good - a solid differential pick if you need midfield cover at a reasonable price.

❌ Transfers OUT - Who to Move On

1. Saliba (Arsenal) - Hold With Caution

Price: £6.1m | Ownership: 13.2% | Season Points: 107

This is a genuinely difficult call. Saliba has been outstanding all season - 11 clean sheets and 107 total points make him one of the best defensive picks in the game. But that ankle issue is a real worry. With Arsenal hosting Bournemouth in a big fixture, you do not want to be sitting on a 75% fitness rating come Friday afternoon.

If you need the funds for other transfers and have a solid replacement in mind, it may be time to cut him loose. If you can afford to hold and trust the 75% fitness rating through to Friday morning, that remains a viable option - but have a backup plan ready.

Verdict: Hold with caution - but have a replacement in mind just in case.

2. Spurs Assets - Sell

Spurs were hammered 3–0 at home by Nottingham Forest in GW31. It was an embarrassing performance, and the problems at the club run deep. Thomas Frank has serious work to do. In Gameweek 32, Spurs travel to Sunderland - which is absolutely not a gimme fixture.

Unless you have a Spurs player who is nailed for minutes and genuinely in red-hot individual form, now is the time to redirect those funds toward teams actually picking up results.

Verdict: Sell - use the funds to back better form elsewhere.

3. Chelsea Defensive Assets - Sell or Downgrade

Everton put three past Chelsea without reply in GW31. Chelsea under Liam Rosenior now face Man City in Gameweek 32 - a fixture that carries a difficulty rating of four for both sides, meaning goals are expected in both directions. Given Chelsea's current defensive frailties, banking on a clean sheet here is wishful thinking.

If you're holding any Chelsea defensive assets outside of the absolute top tier, this is the week to move on and reinvest in more reliable backlines.

Verdict: Sell or downgrade Chelsea defensive assets before GW32.

🎯 Differential Picks - Under 10% Ownership

These are the names that could genuinely separate you from your mini-league rivals this week. If you're looking for differential picks, these three stand out significantly.

1. Beto (Everton) - Top Differential Pick ⭐

Price: £5.0m | Ownership: 2.6% | GW31 Points: 16 | Season Points: 76

Where do we start with Beto? Two goals, one assist, a clean sheet, and three bonus points - 16 points in just 81 minutes in GW31 against Chelsea. He has 6 goals on the season and Everton under David Moyes are absolutely flying right now. The 3–0 demolition of Chelsea was not a fluke - it was a statement.

For Gameweek 32, Everton face Brentford with a fixture difficulty rating of four. The expected points of 7.2 back up the case, and at just £5.0m this is an absolute no-brainer differential. At 2.6% ownership, owning Beto while he's in this kind of form is a huge rank-boosting opportunity.

Verdict: Outstanding differential. At £5.0m and 2.6% ownership, Beto could be your GW32 secret weapon.

2. Canvot (Crystal Palace) - Budget Enabler

Price: £4.5m | Ownership: ~0% | Season Clean Sheets: 4

A genuine under-the-radar budget defender option. Canvot has accumulated four clean sheets this season with a goals conceded record of just nine when playing. Crystal Palace host Newcastle in GW32 - and given Oliver Glasner's backline has looked increasingly solid in recent weeks, there is genuine clean sheet potential here.

At £4.5m, Canvot's primary use case is as an enabler - freeing up funds to spend on the premium assets that will make the real difference. Low risk with a decent floor.

Verdict: Budget enabler with clean sheet upside. Perfect if you need to free up cash elsewhere.

3. Gomez (Brighton) - Brilliant Budget Coverage

Price: £4.9m | Ownership: 0.4% | Season Clean Sheets: 7

Not the Liverpool defender - this Gomez plays for Brighton and picked up an assist in GW31 in that impressive 2–1 win over Liverpool. He has 5 goals and 7 clean sheets on the season, which is a genuinely excellent defensive return at this price point.

Brighton face Burnley at home in GW32, which carries a difficulty rating of just two for Brighton - that almost screams clean sheet potential. At £4.9m, Gomez is a genuine enabler and differential rolled into one. If you want Brighton coverage without paying Welbeck prices, Gomez is an excellent route in.

See the full fixture difficulty ratings to understand exactly why Brighton's schedule makes their assets so attractive right now.

Verdict: Differential and enabler in one. Excellent budget Brighton coverage with real clean sheet potential.

🏆 GW32 Captaincy Pick: B.Fernandes

There is genuinely no debate this week. Bruno Fernandes gets the armband.

  • Expected points of 11.5 for GW32 - highest of any player

  • Man Utd host Leeds at Old Trafford on Monday 13th April

  • Leeds have lost their last three away games and look vulnerable on the road

  • B.Fernandes has been the most in-form player in the game over the last four gameweeks

  • 17 assists and 8 goals on the season - consistently delivering attacking returns

Captain B.Fernandes. That's it. That's the captaincy section.
