GW30 Deadline Day Prep: Senesi, Differentials & A Captain Call You Can't Ignore

Welcome back, FPL managers! Gameweek 30 deadline is fast approaching and there is a lot to get through. From Bournemouth's defensive standout to a Sunderland midfielder barely anyone owns, we've broken down everything you need to know to make the right calls before that Saturday deadline. Before we get into transfers, here's the injury intel you need before locking in your squad:

Tonight also brings five outstanding fixtures including Brighton vs Arsenal, Aston Villa vs Chelsea, and Newcastle vs Man United. Hold off on any late transfers involving players from those games until you've seen the lineups.

Senesi played the full 90 minutes in the goalless draw against Brentford, kept a clean sheet, and claimed maximum bonus points. Eight clean sheets and four assists on the season at £4.9m is exceptional value. With Burnley at home in Gameweek 30, the clean sheet potential is very much alive. If you don't have him, he should be your priority transfer this week.

Sunderland shut out Leeds in GW29 and Ballard was central to it, playing the full 90 minutes. At just 3.5% ownership, he offers huge differential value. Brighton away is a tougher ask in GW30, but Regis Le Bris has built a defensively solid unit this season and the underlying numbers here are very hard to ignore at £4.6m.

Proof that midfielders can rack up serious defensive contribution points - and Garner is the best example of it.

Garner played the full 90 in Everton's 2-0 win over Burnley, earning an assist, a clean sheet, and two bonus points. Ten clean sheets on the season is the joint highest of any midfielder in the data - that is a remarkable figure. David Moyes has Everton very well organised and Garner is the engine of it all. Arsenal away is a tough fixture in GW30, but at £5.2m his underlying numbers are difficult to walk away from.

Liverpool lost to Wolves in GW29 and Ekitiké drew a complete blank, picking up just two points from 90 minutes. That is a worrying return from a £9.1m asset with 34% ownership - the captaincy pressure that comes with that ownership level is enormous. With Liverpool facing Spurs in GW30, you'd expect a response, but confidence has to be wavering. If you have a stronger premium option available, now might well be the time to act.

Rayan played 73 minutes in the goalless draw against Brentford and only managed three points. Clean sheet ticked but no attacking output whatsoever. His season total of 27 points and just two goals across the campaign make him very difficult to trust going forward. Transfers out are slightly outweighing transfers in this week - the market is telling you something. Move on.

Dewsbury-Hall scored in Everton's win over Burnley, kept a clean sheet, and bagged nine points. His form rating of 6.8 is the highest in the current data and with six goals and five assists on the season, he is clearly in brilliant nick. Yes, Arsenal away in GW30 is a tough ask, but at £5.1m the upside is massive and selling him now would be a knee-jerk reaction. Sit tight.

Nobody has Diarra. That is your edge. He scored in GW29's win at Leeds, played the full 90, and kept a clean sheet for seven points. He has also converted a penalty this season, which gives him that added goal threat. With Brighton at home in GW30, there is a genuine haul opportunity here if you want to be bold and separate yourself in your mini league.

Henderson is one of the busiest and most rewarding goalkeepers in the game this season. Eighty-three saves and ten clean sheets is a phenomenal return. Crystal Palace face Leeds at home in GW30 - a fixture rated just 2 in difficulty for the home side. Oliver Glasner's Palace concede chances but Henderson consistently keeps them in games and racks up save points as a result. If you need a goalkeeper upgrade ahead of the deadline, he is your move.

Bruno Fernandes is the standout captain option for Gameweek 30. Man United host Aston Villa on Sunday and with his set-piece threat and creative output - 7 goals and 13 assists on the season - he is the player most likely to deliver a big haul. The key caveat: monitor his performance tonight against Newcastle before locking in that armband. If he comes through the GW29 fixture unscathed, he's your captain.
