📰 GW26 Recap & Key News

A lot happened in Gameweek 26 that directly shapes your GW27 decisions. Here's what matters most heading into the deadline:

Arsenal: Two Blanks, Big Concerns

Arsenal drew 1-1 with Brentford in GW26, then followed it up with a 2-2 draw at Wolves - two consecutive blank gameweeks for the Gunners backline. J.Timber played a full 180 minutes across both fixtures and collected just 3 points. Nearly 93,000 managers are transferring him out this week, and the north London derby against Spurs in GW27 (difficulty rating: 4 for Arsenal away) makes things even trickier. Handle with care.

Man City: Hammered Fulham 3-0

City were dominant against Fulham in GW26. Donnarumma kept a clean sheet and bagged 7 points. They now face Newcastle at home - a tough fixture on paper, but Pep Guardiola's side at the Etihad are a different beast entirely. Keep an eye on City assets heading into the weekend.

Bournemouth: Beat Everton 2-1

Adli was the standout performer for Bournemouth in GW26, scoring and picking up maximum bonus points for a total of 10 points. West Ham host Bournemouth in GW27 - a fixture difficulty rating of just 2 for the away side - making Andoni Iraola's men very interesting across multiple positions.

West Ham: 1-1 Draw With Man Utd

Summerville picked up a clean sheet point in West Ham's 1-1 draw with Man Utd. Form is strong, and with Bournemouth visiting in GW27, there is genuine optimism around the Hammers attackers heading into the weekend.

✅ Transfers In: Who To Buy Before Deadline

🟢 #1 - Adli (Bournemouth) | £5.4m | 0.4% Ownership

Verdict: Essential

  • 10 points in GW26 - scored and grabbed maximum bonus points

  • 3 goals and 2 assists this season

  • Form rating: 6.8

  • GW27 fixture: West Ham (A) - fixture difficulty rating of 2

  • Ownership: just 0.4% - nearly 30,000 transfers in this week

At £5.4m and that minuscule ownership, Adli is the standout differential of the week. Bournemouth have kept 6 clean sheets this season, and Adli's attacking output has been quietly consistent. If you want a low-owned player who could fire your rank up significantly, this is the one. At that price and ownership, the risk is very low - the potential upside is enormous.

🟢 #2 - Summerville (West Ham) | £5.6m | 2.8% Ownership

Verdict: Good Buy

  • 4 goals and 3 assists this season

  • Form rating: 7.2 - the highest in this week's data

  • GW27 fixture: Bournemouth (H) - fixture difficulty rating of 3

  • Played 89 minutes in GW26 and picked up a clean sheet point

  • 76,000 managers already moving for him this week

Summerville carries the highest form rating of any player in this week's analysis at 7.2. West Ham hosting Bournemouth is a very playable fixture, and with 4 goals and 3 assists already this season, there is real upside here. At £5.6m, he is an attractive option in the budget midfielder/winger bracket. The transfer volume says the community is already cottoning on - but at under 3% ownership, he is still very much a differential.

🟢 #3 - Mbeumo (Man Utd) | £8.6m | 22.7% Ownership

Verdict: Good

  • 9 goals and 2 assists this season

  • Form rating: 6.5

  • Expected points: 7.0 for GW27 vs Everton

  • Grabbed an assist and bonus point in GW26

  • 94,000 transfers in this week - one of the highest volumes of any player

  • GW27 fixture: Everton (A) - fixture difficulty rating of 3

Mbeumo is one of the safest picks in the premium midfielder bracket right now. Nine goals this season, excellent form, and a GW27 expected points figure of 7.0 against Everton on Monday Night Football. Man Utd have every reason to push for three points under Michael Carrick. Nearly 94,000 transfers in this week underline the community consensus. If you don't already own him, GW27 is the time to act - and he's also the captain pick (more on that below).

❌ Transfers Out: Who To Sell Before Deadline

🔴 #1 - J.Timber (Arsenal) | £6.4m | 30.7% Ownership

Verdict: Sell, especially if you need the funds

  • 0 clean sheets across GW25 and GW26 (1-1 and 2-2 draws)

  • Just 3 points from 180 minutes played

  • 93,000 transfers out this week

  • GW27 fixture: Spurs (A, NLD) - fixture difficulty rating of 4

  • 12 clean sheets this season overall - but momentum has clearly stalled

Timber has been excellent for much of the season - 12 clean sheets is a brilliant record - but the last two gameweeks have been deeply frustrating for his owners. Two draws, zero clean sheets, and the north London derby away at Spurs next. The 93,000 transfers out tell the story. If you need funds to bring in Adli, Summerville, or another target, Timber is the obvious sell.

🔴 #2 - Enzo (Chelsea) | £6.9m | 22.7% Ownership

Verdict: Sell

  • Just 2 points in GW26 - a blank

  • 8 goals and 3 assists this season, but recent form has dropped off

  • 135,000 transfers out this week - the highest exit volume

  • GW27 fixture: Burnley (H) - fixture difficulty rating of 1 for Chelsea

  • With Palmer as the premium Chelsea pick, Enzo's case weakens further

On paper, Chelsea hosting Burnley looks like a great fixture - a difficulty rating of just 1. But Enzo's output has dried up recently, and with 135,000 managers heading for the exit, the market has spoken. Scott Parker's Burnley could also be a surprise package defensively. With Cole Palmer already available as the premium Chelsea option, there is little reason to hold Enzo. The funds are better deployed elsewhere.

🔴 #3 - Ekitiké (Liverpool) | £8.9m | 25.9% Ownership

Verdict: Sell if you can fund an upgrade

  • Just 2 points in GW26 despite playing 87 minutes

  • 10 goals this season - impressive on the surface

  • Expected points for GW27: just 5.0

  • GW27 fixture: Nott'm Forest (A) - 3 vs 3 difficulty

  • 65,000+ transfers out this week

Ten goals for the season sounds like a productive return, but Ekitiké's recent performances have not matched that headline number. Two points from 87 minutes in GW26, an expected points figure of just 5.0 for GW27, and a tricky away trip to Nottingham Forest - it all adds up to a compelling case for selling. At £8.9m, you need consistent hauls, and he simply is not delivering that right now. Over 65,000 managers are getting out - consider joining them if you can fund a worthwhile upgrade.

🔍 GW27 Differentials: Three Low-Owned Gems

Looking to separate yourself from the template and gain rank? These three picks are flying well under the radar heading into GW27.

💎 Scott (Bournemouth) | £5.0m | 0.9% Ownership

  • 6 clean sheets this season

  • Form rating: 6.0

  • Expected points for GW27: 6.0 vs West Ham (A)

  • Played the full 90 minutes in GW26

  • Bournemouth have looked solid and defensively organised under Iraola

At just £5.0m with 0.9% ownership, Scott is an absolute budget gem hiding in plain sight. Six clean sheets this season is a superb record, and Bournemouth's trip to West Ham is a fixture difficulty rating of 2. If you're already bringing in Adli or Summerville, adding Scott gives you additional Bournemouth coverage at a rock-bottom price.

💎 O.Dango (Brentford) | £5.8m | 0.8% Ownership

  • 5 goals and 5 assists this season - genuinely productive output

  • Played the full 90 minutes in GW26

  • GW27 fixture: Brighton (H) - 3 vs 4 difficulty

  • Price has dipped slightly this week - better value now

  • 40,000 transfers in suggest others are starting to notice

Five goals and five assists for a player at £5.8m with under 1% ownership is a remarkable combination of value and productivity. Brentford host Brighton in GW27 - a manageable home fixture. The slight price dip this week makes him even more attractive. With 40,000 managers already moving, he won't stay this cheap or this low-owned for long. Get ahead of the curve.

💎 M.Fernandes (West Ham) | £5.5m | 0.4% Ownership

  • 3 goals and 3 assists this season

  • Form rating: 5.8

  • GW27 fixture: Bournemouth (H) - fixture difficulty rating of 3

  • Ultra-differential - only 0.4% ownership

  • Perfect double-up option alongside Summerville for West Ham coverage

If you're already bringing in Summerville from West Ham, M.Fernandes is the ideal ultra-differential complement. Three goals and three assists this season at just £5.5m with 0.4% ownership is exceptional value. West Ham hosting Bournemouth is a playable fixture, and double West Ham coverage could pay dividends on the weekend.

🎯 GW27 Captain Pick: Mbeumo

The armband decision for GW27 is straightforward - Mbeumo is your pick.

  • 9 goals this season - one of the most productive forwards in the league

  • Expected points: 7.0 vs Everton (A) on Monday Night Football

  • Form rating: 6.5 and trending upward

  • Man Utd have strong motivation under Michael Carrick

  • Monday Night Football scheduling gives you maximum flexibility with a chip or late swap

With the gameweek spread across Saturday to Monday, Mbeumo is your safest armband option. Nine goals, 7.0 expected points, and a fixture against Everton on Monday Night - don't overthink it.
