Also excellent from the same Forest backline that shut Spurs out. Six points, full 90 minutes, and a clean sheet in that same 3-0 demolition of Spurs. At £4.7m and just 2.4% ownership, doubling up on Forest defenders for GW32 against Aston Villa is a legitimate differential strategy. Expected points of 8.0 for GW32 make Aina a compelling budget option.

Gordon bagged 10 points in GW31 - a goal, three bonus points, and 88 minutes played despite Newcastle losing 2-1 to Sunderland. His form rating sits at 10.5 and he has 7 clean sheets to his name this season. A proper FPL asset, even in a losing side.

Two goals, three bonus points in 82 minutes as Brighton beat Liverpool 2-1. Welbeck was sensational. Twelve goals this season, form of 7.0, and nearly 200,000 transfers in this gameweek alone. More on him in the transfers section below.

Twelve goals this season is elite production for a £6.2m forward. Brighton face Burnley at home in GW32 - a very winnable fixture under Fabian Hurzeler. And crucially, Brighton have a Double Gameweek 33 confirmed. Buying Welbeck now gives you double value. This is not just a GW32 pick - it's a two-gameweek investment. Verdict: Essential.

Thirteen points last gameweek - goal, assist, three bonus points. Eight goals and seventeen assists this season under Michael Carrick's Man Utd. Man Utd face Leeds at home in GW32. The FPL data shows Leeds with an expected difficulty rating of four as the away side, but B.Fernandes creates his own returns regardless. At 44.8% ownership, not having him costs you rank. Verdict: Good.

An assist in GW31, 9 clean sheets this season, and 3 assists overall. At £4.7m and just 3.3% ownership, he's a bargain budget defender with nearly 40,000 transfers in. Bournemouth face Arsenal in GW32 - tricky on paper, but Andoni Iraola's side have been solid. Truffert provides genuine attacking threat from left back and, with Bournemouth confirmed for Double Gameweek 33, he has multi-week appeal. Verdict: Good.

£5.0m, 9.7% ownership, and over 152,000 transfers in - despite a form rating of just 2.0. Man City blanked in GW31 and don't play until Sunday's Chelsea fixture in GW32. Eleven clean sheets across the season is impressive, but current form is ice cold. If you're rotating him in as a bench option, that's fine - but don't expect magic right now. Verdict: Hold unless you need the funds.

With Isak's injury uncertainty and Newcastle losing to Sunderland in GW31, the fixture against Crystal Palace under Oliver Glasner's well-organised side looks tricky. Caution is advised on Newcastle assets right now. Hold off bringing Isak in until we get confirmed selection news closer to the deadline.

Thomas Frank's side conceded three at home to Nott'm Forest in GW31 and look toothless going forward. They face Sunderland away in GW32 - not a kind fixture. If you're holding attacking Spurs options, now is the time to move them on and reinvest elsewhere. Verdict: Sell.

These are the under-the-radar picks that could separate you from the template this gameweek. All are under 10% ownership and offer genuine upside.

We've said it above and we'll say it again. Fifteen points in GW31, £4.7m price tag, 3.1% ownership, and an expected GW32 points of 10.0 at home to Aston Villa. £4.5m, just 1.1% ownership, a clean sheet in GW31, and 8 clean sheets this season. Brentford host Everton in GW32 under Keith Andrews - an attainable clean sheet opportunity. At that ownership and price point, the ceiling is high and the cost is minimal. Budget defenders don't get more explosive than this.

Six points and a clean sheet in GW31, five clean sheets this season, and expected GW32 points of 8.0 against Aston Villa at home. At 2.4% ownership and £4.7m, doubling up on Forest's defensive assets is a legitimate - and potentially lucrative - differential strategy.
